Assemble and/or process quality products safely and accurately in a timely manner
Under the direction of the supervisor and in accordance with the project specific requirements and standard operating procedures, concentrates efforts on assembling wood boxes according to customer specifications. Personal protective equipment required steel toed shoes, ear plugs, gloves, and safety glasses (ear plugs, non-prescription safety glasses, and gloves furnished by employer)
Duties/Responsibilities:
Operate equipment necessary to manufacture customer product. Equipment can include saws, nail guns, staplers, hammer, band cutters, bander, pallet jack, and tape measure
Regular and reliable attendance
Monitor quality of product being produced and notifies the lead or supervisor of any issues
Complete production paperwork as required, accurately, and completely
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with verbal and written procedures, rules, and regulations throughout shift
Be able to fill out your productivity sheet and shipping tag legibly
Essential Functions:
Stand for 8 hours at one time
Work in different temperatures
Lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to read a tape measure
Education and Experience:
Applicants must be 18 years of age
No high school diploma or GED required
No previous experience required
Physical Requirements:
Positions require lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, or moving materials up to 40 lbs., standing on your feet the entire shift, repetitive movements, and hands on general labor. All other duties as may be assigned at management's discretion.
