Ricoh Electronics, Inc. (REI) is looking for Process Analyst to support our Thermal Operations Group. The Process Analyst role is pivotal in managing the cost structure, operational efficiency, and quality standards of our manufacturing processes. The Process Analyst will be responsible for the daily oversight of raw material management, production volume tracking, and ensuring alignment between actual outputs and bill of materials (BOM) specifications.

The Process Analyst will:

  • Monitor and manage raw material receipts (INPUT) and production volumes (OUTPUT) across all manufacturing processes. Verify inventory levels on the production floor and generate accurate reports.
  • Utilize the AS400 system to track and reconcile INPUT and OUTPUT data. Ensure data accuracy and completeness in production records.
  • Conduct daily validation of FCV against BOM values. Identify and investigate discrepancies to determine root causes.
  • Ensure consistency between BOM values, production floor/AS400 INPUT-OUTPUT records, and actual operational data. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in material usage or production outputs.
  • Develop strategies to improve FCV performance and reduce cost variances. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Monitor the effectiveness of implemented strategies and adjust as necessary.
  • Perform monthly analysis of FCV issues and trends. Prepare reports outlining findings, improvement recommendations, and implementation plans.

Required

Bachelors or better in Engineering or related field.

Experience

Required

Minimum 4 years’ experience in process analysis, cost management, or manufacturing operations.
Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably AS400) and proficiency in data analysis tools.
Must have good communication skills (verbal and written).
Intermediate skills in Office365 skills.

Preferred

Experience in the packaging industry or manufacturing of labels or similar products.
