Description: Our manufacturing client is currently seeking a Senior Accountant for their facility outside of Nashville TN. They are looking for someone who has experience working for a manufacturer or has worked for an accounting firm with a manufacturing client. They would like someone who has strong ERP experience and experience with MS Dynamics is highly preferred.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Assist with preparation of Financial Statements - monthly, quarterly and annually
Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements
Research and investigate discrepancies
General Ledger Account Reconciliations
Assists in preparation for internal and external audits
Assist with budgets preparation and variance analysis
Various ad-hoc reporting and other duties as assigned.
Prepares bank payments
Assists with payroll and social charges calculation, declarations and payment
Conduct physical inventories
Assist in month end close process
Month end review of all balance sheet accounts
Cash flow analysis and planning
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
At least Three (3) years Plant Manufacturing experience required
Solid understanding of accounting concepts and GAAP
Experience with ERP systems(required) - Dynamics preferred
Advanced MS Excel skills (experience with VLOOKUPS and pivot tables)
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Strong time management skills
Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of multi-departmental teams
