Pick Up & Delivery (P&D) Driver

Viking Fence is excited to add a full time, hourly non-exempt P&D Driver, reporting to the Sanitation Dispatcher at our South Austin, TX location. This role has tremendous upside potential as the company has grown revenue for 12+ years and continues to expand its Sanitation department.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Drive to customer sites to deliver, pick up, pump, clean and service portable restrooms according to company standards and procedures.Communicate with dispatch and customers.Weekend availability required.Complete special projects as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
CDL class B license required, tanker endorsement a plus. Must have clean driving record and pass the required DOT physical and drug screen; no more than 3 points on driving record allowed.Ideal candidate will have one or more years in a service-related role with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in using cell phone and in phone apps like GPS.Must be a team player, flexible, with calm demeanor.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
A typical day consists of approximately 50% driving and 50% servicing portable restrooms at designated locations. This position is labor intensive, requiring lifting, reaching, and bending while servicing portable toilets.Will require safe use of cleaning agents in the course of work activities.
Will be exposed to all types of weather on a regular basis. Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weight (up to 75 lbs.) regularly Safely walk and stand for extended periods of time. Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as necessary.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly pay with target annual compensation of $16.00 to $24.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and licenses.
