Job Overview

The Field Marketing and Sales IPA Specialist prospect and obtain sales leads for enrollment of individuals in AltaMed Contracted Senior Medicare Health Plans and develop community and provider relationships to generate leads. This position is expected to travel 80-90% within the service area. This position will establish strong business relationships with contracted physicians to support AltaMed membership growth within physician practice. The position will develop marketing strategies; identify new referral sources, producing self-generated leads and enrollments. Additionally, the position will be responsible for outreach, marketing, and assisting with the development and implementation of market-driven initiatives within AltaMed.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business administration or a related field of study preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years direct sales experience/marketing/outreach experience in the healthcare industry with a minimum of three years working with

  • Medicare, Medi-Cal, and/or Commercial Insurance required.

  • Knowledge of CMS Marketing Guidelines.

  • Experience working with the senior population, the underserved population, business-to-business, and business-to-consumer marketing experience preferred.

  • Certified Application Assistant (CAA) certification is preferred.

  • Bilingual: Spanish/English, English/Vietnamese or English/Mandarin Chinese or Cantonese preferred.

Compensation

$60,979.94 - $76,224.93 annually
