Description:
A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Tulane University based in the historic Uptown New Orleans. The postdoctoral researcher will work with Dr. Matthew Montemore's group study and design catalysts and other materials for energy applications, using a variety of computational techniques including quantum chemical methods and kinetic models. Collaboration with other research groups, especially experimental groups, is expected. The fellow will also contribute to mentoring graduate and undergraduate students within the research group. Multiple active projects led by Dr. Montemore on computational design of catalysts and other materials are currently supported by the National Science Foundation.
