Salary/Position Classification


  • $13.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)

  • 5-10 hours per week

  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No

  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No


Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.


The Office Assistant provides administrative support to the Pride Center


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain a welcoming and approachable environment for students and visitors

  • Serve as a resource for students and visitors by providing accurate and current information regarding the Pride Center and University related programs and services

  • Assist director with administrative tasks

  • Provide support for Pride Center events and activities including helping promote and market events

  • Miscellaneous projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be in good academic standing

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, email, etc.

  • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the employed academic semester

  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
