This position works under minimal supervision & typically reports directly to department head and/or administrator. Position makes decisions according to established policies & procedures, although does have authority and frequently exercises discretion when acting on behalf of administrator. Determines & is responsible for ensuring that appropriate action is taken to meet department goals and guidelines. Officially represents administrator and /or department to outside organizations, community & customer base.
Minimum Education Required
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred
Required Qualifications
6 months experience (600 hours course work or training) in customer service or communications, including researching, analyzing & interpreting information; 3 months experience (300 hours course work) in budgeting; 6 months experience (600 hours training) in operation of spreadsheet, publication, and/or presentation software and related computer equipment; 3 months experience (300 hours course work) in supervision management; 3 months experience (300 hours course work) in interviewing. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
