The department of Neurology has an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Research Associate 1 to work at UHealth. The Research Associate supports research activities under the direction of a principal investigator, or designee of the principal investigator. The Research Associate 1, SOM (N) supports research activities for the assigned division by conducting laboratory experiments on assigned research projects. Moreover, the incumbent operates with the goal of advancing his/her expertise through continued education, training, and research.
Performs specialized and complex procedures related to a wide range of research studies /substudies.
Participates in the publication of significant research results.
Advances expertise through education, training, and research.
Participates in training sessions and workshops.
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
Complete questionnaires and neuropsychological evaluations of cognitive outcomes of normal aging in men and women as part of a nutritional intervention study.
Ensures study participants are provided in-person handoff of investigational product.
Assists the senior clinical research coordinator with managing electronic case report forms, database input, and IRB compliance
Performs specialized and complex procedures related to a wide range of research studies /sub studies.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
No prior experience required
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
