(Contingent upon available funding):62,000.00 - 84,060.00, Salary Work Schedule:Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm with one hour for lunch Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary:The Department of Agricultural Economics teaches skills in business management, marketing/sales, finance, accounting, and economics related to agriculture and related industries. It also includes the field of community development which encompasses local leadership skills. Students learn how to analyze the big-picture issues related to agricultural, food or natural resource policies; rural or community development; or environmental and natural resource economics. The County Training Program provides training for seventy-seven Oklahoma counties to include county commissioners, county clerks, county treasurers, county assessors, court clerks, county sheriffs, their deputies and employees, excise board members, candidates for county office and any other persons through the Cooperative Extension Service at Oklahoma State University.
The County Training Program is seeking a program director to lead staff educators and encourage growth within the program. The director should be confident in their ability to teach, guide, and lead.
The director works under the direction of OSU Extension and the OSU Department of Agricultural Economics through the Division of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. Special Instructions to Applicants

Required: Master's degree in Business Management, Education Administration, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics or related field of study.Minimum of ten years County Government Experience.* Excellent organizational skills
* Exhibit professionalism for program staff, students, and stakeholders.
* Must have proficiency in curriculum development.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.


Valid driver's license;
Reliable transportation for travel connected with official duties. Reimbursement for official travel.


* Ability to load and unload educational materials and equipment in containers weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.



Preferred: PhD in Business Management, Education Administration, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics or related field of study.* Supervisory experience in evaluation, budgeting, hiring, and coaching personnel.
* Proven record of effective teaching and public speaking.
