Job Description:

Cub Lyndale Liquor is looking for a liquor clerk to join their team. Primary emphasis in this position is to provide customer service dealing with the sale of liquor and to know and observe the various state and local regulations regarding the sale of liquor. The position requires ongoing customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates.
• Perform product scanning and processing of customer order in an accurate, efficient and prompt manner.
• Ensure properly handling of all forms of tender, coupons, voids, returns, refunds and exchanges.
• Follow front end safety and security procedures.
• Assist with front end maintenance and cleaning.
• Follow all store and department policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned or delegated

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.
• Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom)
• Reaching, standing, and turning.
• Judgement/decision making, social skills/verbal interactions.
• Memorization, reading, writing and math.
• Performs aisle stocking as assigned.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervisor may not be immediately available.

SCHEDULE:

• Preference will be given to candidates with open availability.
• Evenings until 10:00pm and weekends are required.
