Reporting to the Global Program Leader, the EPM provides leadership for all laboratory asset management program (LAMP) governance & performance management activities at an assigned enterprise client to ensure:
Program change management process is in place and followed
Operational risks/ issues are identified, escalated as needed, and mitigated appropriately
Operational continuous improvement activities are tracked and completed to plan
Job Responsibilities:
Support activities related to Program Governance,Finance Management, Quality Management and HR, including leading the internal program operations RAID, CCR tracking, Resource Forecasting &Planning and Hiring plan, talent pipeline and open positions tracker, EH&S, BCP and risk.
Lead follow up actions and accountability resulting from business reviews and operational forums
Escalate, facilitate process to identify mitigations and track resolution of LAMP operational performance issues
Conduct regularly scheduled program management meetings with internal back office functions at PerkinElmer to manage the program, ensuring the customer facing team is properly supported to execute effectively
Lead assigned continuous improvement of operational performance and processes, leverage the customer facing team in collaboration
Create and maintain a culture for the program that is built on honesty, hard work, commitment to the customer, and growing the business by executing the business
Define activities for process improvements, new program implementation and general program support. Ensure consistency, where applicable, of PerkinElmer processes and best practices across all global sites
Lead the team on the process of executing assigned new program implementations, using a standard work breakdown structure including the data management to move the customer information in the PE database
Lead activities as needed to develop or modify processes that correlate with the customer's requirements for all aspects of the OS program including invoicing, change control, opportunities to expand the program scope, delivery of entitlements, managing service providers, and leveraging links to the customer's internal communication processes
Participate in sharing best practices, challenges, and solutions with a team of customer dedicated Project Mangers
Establish a connection to the OneSource PMO to ensure the use of the most up to date, consistent and approved tools, processes, and services
Basic Requirements:
5+ years of experience in a Program Manager role
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree
Project Management certification preferred
Experience in a science-based industry desired
Advanced kwledge of MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
Always possess a "leadership presence" at all times, especially during remote/conference call meetings. Be an energetic, engaged, and common-sense leader
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, working on multiple projects with constantly changing priorities and deadlines
High level work ethic and organization skills
Ability to suggest solutions to problems and escalate issues
Team management skills
25-30% domestic & international travel. Day to day travel to customer sites.
The annualcompensation range for this full-time position is $84,240.00 to $120,000.00. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
