Texas Biomed is searching for a CT/PET Radiologic Technician to provide technical support for research and clinical programs.


The Role

· Perform PET and PET/CT scanner operation for data acquisition and reconstruction

· Follow protocols to receive, handle and inject isotopes for PET/CT

· Operates and maintains x-ray equipment and takes x-rays of various portions of the body while practicing radiation protection techniques

· Assist with quality control and service management to ensure continuous compliance with regulatory guidelines for PET/CT operations and X-ray technologies.


Our Ideal Candidate

· Graduation from an accredited two (2) year program in Radiologic Technology (or equivalent) is required.

· 3 years of radiology experience required. CT/PET experience preferred.

· Experience with animals preferred.

· Current certification with American Registry for Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and current license with Texas Medical Board.

· Texas Operators Driver's License required with good driving record.
