Logistics Analyst

Orlando, FL (Onsite)

Position Summary

Thales is looking for a Logistics Analyst to support logistics operations by analyzing processes, developing solutions, and implementing process improvements. This role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance logistics efficiency, solve operational challenges, and identify opportunities for optimization.

In this position, you will also ensure accurate and timely coordination of shipments, compliance with regulations, and supports reporting and documentation efforts.

Key Areas of Responsibility


  • Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

  • Manage and update databases for analytics and reporting purposes.

  • Coordinate and communicate with internal customers, freight forwarders, and carriers for both domestic and international shipments.

  • Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality documentation.

  • Prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders for decision-making; Lead and participate in logistics improvement initiatives, applying project management principles; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and meet deadlines; Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and support the development of metrics.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study or an equivalent combination education and experience with 3+ years of relevant logistics experience.

  • Knowledge of logistics processes, including customs, import/export regulations, and shipping terms (e.g., INCOTERMS).

  • Proven experience in data analytics and project management; Proficient in SAP or similar ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities; Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Special Position Requirements



  • Schedule: Core business hours 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Mon-Fri; may be requires rotation between all shifts as well as weekend and holiday work; available to work overtime.


  • Physical Environment: General office & warehouse environment.


  • Physical Demands: Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to fifty (50) pounds occasionally and/or up to twenty (20) pounds frequently. (Medium).

  • Regulatory Compliance Requirements: None.
