What you will enjoy doing*


  • In this role, you will weld, layout and fit-up carbon steel and / or alloy steel based on construction drawings

  • Workmanship must meet company standards for quality including radiographic repair rate for this role

  • Further, you must follow Linde safety policies and procedures as outlined in the safety manual

  • Productivity level must consistently equal the company's established productivity requirements, as defined by work instructions

  • You also will instruct and direct work of others, as required

  • You will maintain the 5- S program in the structure shop as well as the rest of the shop


What makes you great


  • You successfully completed our internal welding test and have four (4) years applicable welding experience

  • In addition, you can perform welding assignments with minimal supervision

  • Further, you have knowledge of wire and filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materials

  • Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.) is required for this role, as well as the use conventional and precision measuring instruments

  • You will finish grinding applications using manual and power tools

  • Also, you own knowledge of welding equipment and can read construction drawings and / or welding instructions

  • In addition, you must demonstrate a proficiency in the following welding process, but not limited to; GMAW AND FCAW

  • Moreover, you must demonstrate the ability to use the following cutting devices, but not limited to; Plasma, Carbon-Arcing, and Hand Torches

  • This position is a safety sensitive position, you are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others, including but not limited to (forklifts, cranes, tractor trailers, operating machinery, etc.)
