Our client is one of Houston's leading Civil Contractors who operates in both the public and private sectors. This company operates in multiple different sectors within the civil construction market, including underground utilities, site preparation, mass excavation and paving. The work on a variety of different projects ranged from $500k through to $30Mil. They self-perform all site work and take projects from bidding stage right through to completion.
Your new role
. You will be responsible for working closely with the senior project managers and assisting with the management of civil construction projects. Your responsibilities will include planning, budgeting, scheduling as well as liaising with clients, engineers, subcontractors and vendors. You will be required to do multitasks and think on your feet. This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of experience who is looking to get in with a company that offers long-term development and training.
What you'll need to succeed
A bachelor's degree along with 1-3 years experience working within the construction sector, ideally on civil construction projects. You will have exceptional communication skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team environment. Your ambitious, eager attitude will help you succeed and move up within this organization.
