Position Summary:
The Records Management Analyst is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy and safekeeping of electronic data and other records by coordinating storage, retrieval, usage, and records retention. Coordinates activities with external auditors, including furnishing copies of audit reports and providing requested information. This position is governed by state and federal laws and institution policy
Duties & Responsibilities:
Process admissions documentation through various sources (fax, e-mail, mail, etc.)
Review documentation, determine eligibility for admission into program, determine validity of documentation (e.g. teaching licenses etc to align with departmental requirements). Perform GPA calculations on students that have multiple transcripts to establish overall GPA
Process admissions decisions based on established criteria
Assist with student inquiries - via phone, e-mail, etc.
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures Knowledge of student financial aid programs, standards and procedures Knowledge of counseling and interviewing techniques Knowledge of principles and practices of money management
Ability to review and evaluate student financial needs and prepare appropriate financial aid package Ability to disseminate information orally and in writing Ability to collect, analyze, compile, and record data on financial aid Ability to supervise the work of subordinates

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Additional hours as requested and/or needed Regular and reliable attendance

This position has been identified as a telecommuting position. The duties are performed during standard work hours of 8am-5pm at a predefined and approved work location. Individuals filling this role must have dedicated work space that provides privacy and security related to the work being performed. Additionally, individuals must have secure internet access with appropriate upload/download capabilities to perform the duties associated with the position. Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of an earned Bachelor's Degree with a major in general business or related field
One (1) year of experience in student financial aid or related area
Other job related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or parts of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee
