Overview
ITT Goulds Pumps is currently seeking a highly motivated, independent, objective, detail and process oriented, and engaging Quality Systems Internal Auditor (ISO9001) to join our team. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for scheduling and conducting internal audits in accordance with the latest revision of the ISO9001 standards and company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and company policies, procedures, and processes
Create annual audit schedule and ensure scheduled audits are complete on time
Scheduling and conducting internal audits in a thorough and unbiased manner while gathering objective evidence to support audit findings
Evaluating production processes for compliance with the latest revisions of the ISO9001 standard and company policies and procedures
Identifying issues such as compliance concerns, risks, process gaps, and data inaccuracies
Addressing nonconformities (CAPAs and Observations) identified during audits (internal and external); including facilitating Root Cause investigations
Creating and maintaining audit reports and CAPA findings in Q-Pulse
Maintaining tracking log for audit findings (External and Internal)
Supporting external audits from regulatory agencies and customers
Facilitating training for new internal auditors per procedure QAI413
Supporting other QA processes as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality Systems plus 2+ years of relevant experience OR an Associate's degree plus 5+ years of experience is required.
2 to 5 years of internal audit experience is required
ISO9001 or ISO13485 Lead Auditor certification is strongly preferred
Ability to conduct audits with impartiality and objectivity
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
