JAGGAER is looking for a Project Manager to join the RMM (Research Material Management) Professional Services Team.

Principal Responsibilities

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Project Manager working with clients in commercial research, higher education, and other industries implementing commercial off-the-shelf solutions for sourcing, acquiring, and managing inventory of chemical and biological materials, as well as managing stock inventory of lab, clinical, and maintenance supplies.

  • Work with project constituents to explain project approach, set deadlines, clarify responsibilities, resolve project issues, and monitor progress of projects

  • Use product and industry knowledge to effectively serve as the business/functional advisor to the client, translating business requirements into solution needs while configuring the application to meet those objectives.

  • Develop and maintain project documentation. Use templates, past examples and guidance from peers or management as needed.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Coordinate cross-functional internal resources and activities as required to complete responsibilities for assigned projects

  • Keep client informed of their responsibilities, status and related issues

  • Ability to develop strong knowledge of solution and provide clients with consultation of industry best practices related to use of the solution

  • Identify and estimate impact of, and preparing documentation supporting project scope changes

  • Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks, including s/w issue resolution, scope challenges and project delays.

  • Facilitate requirements gathering and issue resolution sessions that may include JAGGAER subject matter experts on a situational basis

  • Establish and manage relationships with client to sustain a strong business connection.

  • Will on occasion use their knowledge to assist Support Team in investigating issues that may be specific to a client’s unique business processes

  • Assist client in understanding and measuring value from the solution

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the client delivery organization

  • Knowledge of R&D business processes within pharmaceutical, biotech and university environments is desirable

  • Experience with Inventory management concepts processes and procedures highly desirable, including master catalog management, inventory distribution and operations, including replenishment, and data analytics for inventory optimization and performance management is highly desirable.

  • Ability to support client in business process review and streamlining activities to support system installation

Position Requirements

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of business experience with 3+ years of demonstrated experience in application implementations /providing consulting services in a client environment.

  • 1-3 years with Consulting, Supply Chain, Sourcing or R&D software application experience is preferred.

  • Experience implementing software-as-a-service (SaaS) software solutions or ERPs with systems integration preferred.

  • Strong project management, interpersonal, negotiation, communication, presentation, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Must be able to learn quickly, make strong individual contributions and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a team environment.

  • Ability to act independently, take initiative and drive tasks and issues to resolution.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must. Will work extensively over the phone and in-person with clients and suppliers. Hands-on experience with project management methodologies.

  • Business automation and workflow process development desirable.

  • Proficient in the use of PowerPoint, SmartSheet, Project, Visio, Excel and Word as well as other typical business productivity tools.

  • Will be required to travel domestically and internationally. Travel ranges from 20-30%. Passport required for international travel.

  • Confident, articulate, succinct, professional and has sound judgement and critical thinking skills.

  • Communicate project roles of team members based on projects, requirements, timeframes

  • Track progress against project deliverables, tasks, and activities

  • Manage the solution configuration, deployment and software issue resolution to ensure a timely solution acceptance

  • Facilitate solution and process workshops to identify client business objectives, define project goals and provide a plan for maximizing the value of the solution

  • Establish and manage relationships with client to sustain a strong business connection leading to high client satisfaction, retention of existing business and development of new business

  • Manage communication of appropriate project information to clients and within JAGGAER
