Description: Our client is currently seeking a Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering for a 14 month contract.
Medical device experience is highly preferred.
Shift start times may vary deepening on the situation. Usual start times will be during standard business hours. Sometimes the start time may need to be earlier in alignment with production shift start.
This position is a project approved role for yield sustainment. The manufacturing engineer will work on production lines that have been a part of a manufacturing transfer. The sending site processes will be sent two different locations. The disassembly and cleaning tasks will be in one facility and the assembly, functional testing, and packaging will be at another.
Provides engineering support to a manufacturing process, project or function. Evaluates manufacturing outcomes and implements continuous improvements and cost efficiencies. Supports NPI and new equipment/process introductions.
This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. Roles typically require a university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience. Job requires an understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline. The job requires the ability to make judgements based on practice and previous experience. This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and no experience.
