As the Property Marketing Manager, you’ll have a big mission – to lead the team that directly supports new BH communities, plus liaise with internal leaders and external clients to support the launch, adoption, and scalability of strategic marketing initiatives for all BH communities. You have an awareness of prospect and resident sales cycles, and you understand how a property’s submarket, class, unit count, amenities, specials, brand, and budget will influence their overall marketing strategy. You acknowledge the added value in enhanced speed-to-market and are comfortable at employing marketing strategies at scale, but you also appreciate the merits of nuanced support as needed. In this role, you’ll drive added value for BH, bringing our “living here means living more” promise to life as you champion new initiatives that will drive property performance and elevate prospect/resident experience.

You are a thoughtful and harmonizing promoter. You recognize the inherent overlap between marketing and operations, and you carefully craft your message and approach to guide our operational leaders and their teams to effectively understand the larger BH marketing strategy, plus tap into all available support resources to meet their goals.

Essential Job Functions:


  • Define and coordinate marketing strategies/solutions that will effectively support and enhance community performance.

  • Collaborate with regional leaders and clients to understand property performance goals, and refine strategies as needed to support leasing goals.

  • Ensure our team is always enthusiastically welcoming new-to-BH communities and team members to our platform, plus effectively communicating strategy and available resources for these teams through onboarding and beyond.

  • Serve as a key marketing support resource and point of escalation, as needed, for all operational team members.

  • Foster an engaging and productive relationship between the Property Marketing and Performance Strategy teams to best support BH communities through various seasonal and/or operational performance cycles.

  • Develop mission critical awareness of where property marketing overlaps with other internal departments and build bridges daily

  • Consult on and monitor KPIs and marketing performance goals.

  • Measure and report on community adoption of recommended vendors and liaise with vendors as needed to drive added value for BH communities using their platforms.

  • Use available reporting tools to assess portfolio performance to plan, plus provide ongoing feedback and recommendations to drive added and/or ongoing velocity.

  • Lead and mentor a team of cross-functional marketers and subject matter experts.

  • Provide regular feedback and hold performance reviews to encourage open conversation and discussion around career growth.

  • Be a role model for team members outside of your reporting line as well.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:


  • 5+ years of marketing and/or sales support experience with at least two years of experience leading a team.

  • Strong tactical marketing knowledge. You understand how a wide variety of marketing tasks are completed within their respective systems.

  • Next level written and verbal communication, including strong presentation skills.

  • Familiarity with real estate, multifamily, or multi-site marketing and operations.

  • Balancing competing priorities is your forte’; you have excellent judgment and quick decision-making skills.

  • Outstanding organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

  • Experience working remotely on or with distributed teams.

  • You are happily autonomous with healthy communication skills. You are comfortable working independently and you keep everyone in your sphere informed of your progress.

Desired Qualifications/Skills


  • 3+ years in a role where aspects of project management were paramount. You are comfortable with task management, meeting deadlines, understanding dependencies, and organizing project plans through to completion. Bonus points if you’ve used tools such as Asana, Monday, Wrike, and/or Trello.

  • Experience with modern graphic design systems and tools. We use Adobe and Canva, but there are other great ones out there as well.

  • Well-equipped to manage marketing vendors. You know how to build productive relationships, how to deliver honest feedback, and when to shop.

Work Schedule: Will normally work Monday-Friday (work schedule may vary, depending on business needs).
