RESPONSIBILITIES:

Specialty Systems, Inc. is seeking a Radar Systems Technician in support of Air Traffic Control (ATC) and Automatic Carrier Landing System (ACLS) Division. Be part of a Lead Systems Integration (LSAI Team comprised of technicians, field engineers, engineers, and program managers.

The successful candidate will work with the following:

• Instrumented Carrier Landing Systems (ICLS), Direct Altitude Identity Readout (DAIR), Automatic Carrier Landing Systems (ACLS), Satellite Signals Landing Systems, Carrier Controlled Approach (CCA) and ATC Surveillance Radar.
• Air Traffic Navigation Integration & Coordination System (ATNAVICS), Air Mobile TACAN, Ground Based Sense & Avoid, FACSFAC Air Control Tracking System, Integrated Range Status System (IRSS), Shore Instrument Landing System.
• Other duties include implementation of engineering changes and training. Work will be performed as part of a Lead Systems Integration (LSI) team of technicians, field engineers, engineers, and program managers.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• HS Diploma required
• 4+ years of experience operating and maintaining air traffic control and radar systems
• Experience with Shore and Air Traffic Control Expeditionary systems
• Active Secret security clearance required
• Travel may be required and will primarily be to US Navy fleet concentration areas and Naval Air Stations and Marine Corp Air Stations worldwide.
