Job Summary:
The Marketing Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing marketing projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional organizational skills and a passion for delivering impactful marketing campaigns. The Marketing Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including vendors and freelancers, to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Main Accountabilities:
Strategic Planning & Support: Work directly with leadership to help shape and communicate the marketing strategy. Assist in translating high-level marketing goals into clear, actionable plans that are easily visualized and understood by cross-functional teams. Ensure all project deliverables align with the broader strategic objectives of the organization.
Project Planning and Execution: Lead the initiation, planning, and execution of marketing projects of varying sizes, developing detailed project plans that outline timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Ensure project goals and objectives are clearly defined, documented, and aligned with overall business strategy.
Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, content, digital, and product, to coordinate project activities. Facilitate effective communication and ensure all stakeholders are aligned with project goals. This also includes external vendors and partners.
Timeline Management: Establish and manage project timelines, ensuring that all deliverables are met on schedule. Address any delays or issues promptly and adjust plans as necessary while providing effective and regular communication to key stakeholders.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Identify, analyze, mitigate, document, and control project risks.
Qualifications:
Project Management Experience
Bachelor's (Preferred)
Excellent communication skills
Problem solving and leadership skills
Marketing experience (Preferred)
PMP Certification (Preferred)
Familiarity with the Financial Services Industry (Preferred)
Proficiency with Project Planning Tools and MS Office Suite
