We are seeking a talented individual to join our Advisory team at Marsh as a Analytics Engagement Leader. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week ideally out of our Chicago office.
As a member of the Marsh Analytics team, you will leverage your proven leadership and interpersonal skills to translate complex technical risk issues into actionable insights for business leaders, fostering collaboration among stakeholders. You will utilize strong quantitative and analytical abilities to drive business development and provide customized solutions that empower clients to align their risk strategies with corporate priorities. We will count on you to:
Manages a strategic book of client accounts of varying sizes and complexity, co-defined with geographic zone leaders and targeted at growth and penetration; upholds client engagement goals and targets.
Thoroughly addresses all RFPs, develops client engagement presentations and formal proposals for related accounts in collaboration with distribution and risk practice colleagues.
Oversees the client engagement process for clients, working to ensure colleague and client satisfaction along all phases of the process while negotiating outcomes that create value for the client and the business.
Evaluates the book of business within the analytics team. Leverages internal contacts, internal product developments and market developments to identify areas of opportunity and expansion for existing and prospective clients.
Leverages an advanced awareness and understanding of client needs and internal service offerings to facilitate relationships, expand client engagement and maximize value. Accountable for client relationship and business satisfaction within the analytics engagement ensuring overall service needs are met and attentively addresses concerns or requests to best serve the client.
Serves as a recognized figure and resource within the analytics team with proven credibility. Acts as the chief point of contact for key stakeholders in the geographic zone for existing clients to ensure professional relationships are retained, upheld and nourished and prospective clients to ensure continued growth and expanded value.
Organizes, attends, speaks and presents at relevant industry conferences and is a prominent, contributing member of relevant professional organizations and societies to expand and maintain a large professional network, gain exposure and represent the Company's analytics offerings.
What you need to have:
Bachelor's degree with a record of outstanding academic achievement
10+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience centered around analytical projects
Financial and analytical acumen
Demonstrated experience working with strategic / c-suite leaders

Experience and comfort in using analytical methods to create project analysis and recommendation support and/or actuarial education or experience.
Direct client experience and insurance knowledge
Previous or current experience working for a consulting firm
