The Job Details are as follows:

We are seeking a Software Engineer Intern for a one-year technical internship program. Dates for the internship will be from May 19, 2025, to April 24, 2026, working full time during the summer hours and part-time the rest of the year. This role will perform software development tasks commensurate with skills and experience. Develop new features for OCLC members. Modify existing software such as enhancing user interfaces. OCLC is excited about the potential of AI to enhance our products and workplace to benefit our customers.
The 2025 OCLC Intern cohort will collaborate on a project to explore AI tools and trends that have the potential to improve processes and workflows in various lines of business.

Responsibilities:


  • Intern will be part of an experienced team of software developers who frequently release enhancements and fixes for the OCLC corporate website

  • The team uses Adobe Experience Manager to manage the website content. Additional technologies used include Java, Javascript, HTL, HTML & CSS

Qualifications:


  • AI experience

  • Degree-seeking college student enrolled as a Senior or Master’s student pursuing major in Computer Science degree

  • Completion of first-level engineering courses

  • Good familiarity with Java

  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS a plus

  • Experience with databases

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong problem solving and analytic skills

  • Excellent customer and team-interaction skills

  • Pro-active and self-motivated       

Working Conditions: Normal office environment.
