The Sr. Middle Office Analyst will support all trade lifecycle events for F&G's Investment portfolios, as well as all daily production support related to this trade activity. Reporting to the Manager, Middle Office, this position will act as subject matter expert for all supporting functions related to the investment operations of the firm.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support implementation of investment onboarding procedures, with a focus on Private Credit investments
Review Security Master daily (SMF) data for new investments and guide the flow of data into the Accounting Database
Prioritize and direct daily production tasks and ad-hoc requests
Proactively seek and drive opportunities to achieve straight-through processing and improve efficiency of investment onboarding and reconciliation processes
Liaise with primary custodian as the point of contact for F&G on all operational responsibilities
Conduct and support the quarterly valuation process for private placement and mortgage loans
Responsible for reconciliation and reporting oversight for the Investment portfolios
Develop monthly metrics to identify trends in production and mitigate potential risk
Analyze and execute complex and non-routine deliverables
Experience and Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business
Advanced understanding of Fixed Income securities and the process through which they are entered into a Trade Management and/or Accounting system
Advanced skills within Microsoft office applications
Proficient use of Bloomberg terminal, specifically for pricing and Middle Office functions
Excellent analytical skills required
Business Intelligence experience preferred
Experience with Clearwater Analytics preferred
