Our Austin, Texas Pavement Engineering Department is interested in hiring an Associate Pavement. The ideal candidate(s) will work with Fugro team to plan, develop, coordinate, and direct large important engineering projects or a number of small projects with many complex features with a staff of engineers and technicians.



Job Responsibilities:



  • Follow prescribed guidelines or procedures.

  • Superior technical knowledge of engineering discipline with a commitment to continual improvement.

  • Excellent written communication skills including comprehensive understanding of writing for engineering documents and related terminology.

  • Stay abreast of current professional practices, periodicals, and technological advancements in engineering.

  • Ability to competently and professionally present project materials in client meetings, including identifying and mitigating client concerns.

  • Maintain meaningful involvement in professional organizations.

  • Advanced knowledge of technology including standard office and engineering software and equipment.

  • Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction from senior staff.




Job Requirements:



  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.

  • Master's degree or higher in Pavement Engineering is highly preferred.

  • A PE license in the state of Texas is preferred

  • Possess an excellent understanding and knowledge of Pavement Engineering and related disciplines.

  • Possess an overall understanding of technical requirements and field data acquisition procedures.

  • Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
