ORGANIZATIONAL SUMMARY:
Within the College of Education, the Division of K-16 Educational Initiatives focuses on grant development and educational initiatives locally, statewide, and nationally. The grants and initiatives within the Division include Project 10: Transition Education Network, and the Multiagency Service Network for Students with Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities (SEDNET) Administration Projects. The grants are Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Funded State Project Grants through the Florida Department of Education (FDOE), Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services (BEESS) and they provide training and technical assistance to various area Florida school districts regarding secondary transition, dropout prevention and mentoring for students with emotional and/or behavioral disabilities. SEDNET also provides an intensive integrated educational program to include a continuum of mental health treatment services to enable students with or at risk of emotional/behavioral disabilities (EBD) to develop appropriate behaviors and demonstrate academic and career education skills.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Fiscal & Business Analyst I is a professional position which proficiently maintains exceptional organization and accurate financial data reports providing a variety of fiscal support duties related to reconciliation of project budgets, analysis and processing procurement expenses, reconciliation of all expenditures associated with salaries, fringe benefits, travel, materials and supplies, contracts, subcontracts, and procurement PCard expenses. This position is cost shared across two separately funded grant projects.

MINIMUM:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or other field directly related to the position's specific responsibilities and 0-2 years of fiscal related work experience; or a Bachelor's degree in no specific required field and two years of fiscal related work experience; or four years fiscal related work experience.
PREFERRED:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or other field directly related to the position's specific responsibilities and two (2) or more years of fiscal related experience working with USF's Business Systems.
The selected candidate must have a current work authorization in the United States. This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.
