Program & Events Coordinator (Charles Center)
Full Time Operational
William & Mary
3KF110 Charles Center
The Charles Center is William & Mary's hub for transformative undergraduate research experiences beyond the classroom and across disciplines. Our honors and scholars programs, research and journalism initiatives, and research-centered internships create opportunities for students to put their liberal arts & sciences education into practice in mentored settings. We support undergraduate research at all stages - from conception and planning to funding and travel - through hands-on experiences that prepare students for lives and livelihoods of purpose.
William & Mary's Charles Center invites applications for a Program & Events Coordinator to support the Charles Center's robust portfolio of undergraduate student programs and sponsored events which are essential to the William & Mary community. Under the direction of the Undergraduate Research Program Administrator, you will assist with planning and executing programming activities for the Monroe Scholars Program in addition to supporting multiple Charles Center-sponsored events throughout the year. Monroe Scholars are high-achieving students who pursue scholastic discovery, curiosity, and intellectual depth beyond the classroom. The Monroe program offers an enrichment series of events for academic and professional development as well as opportunities for peer mentorship and social connections. Monroe Scholars are also eligible to apply for designated funds to complete summer research projects, internships, and conference travel.
