The Employee Relations Manager is responsible for fostering a positive work environment and managing employee relations within a manufacturing setting. This role involves addressing employee concerns, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and maintaining effective communication between employees and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures that promote a positive work environment and comply with employment laws.
Conflict Resolution: Address and mediate conflicts between employees and management, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
Training and Development: Conduct training sessions on employee relations, workplace behavior, and company policies for management and staff.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws.
Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to employee relations, turnover, and engagement to identify trends and develop improvement strategies.
Advisory Role: Provide guidance to management on disciplinary actions, terminations, and other employee relations issues.
Employee Support: Offer support and resources to employees regarding workplace issues, benefits, and counseling services.
