RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Spring, TX that is seeking a Power BI Developer.

Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled PowerBI Reports Developer and Analytics to join our enterprise IT team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in sourcing data from multiple infrastructure sources, including SCCM, SaltStack, ServiceNow, and Windows/RHEL environments. This role involves building comprehensive dashboards for our patching environment and servers on the application layer for development and production environments. Additionally, the candidate should have the ability to develop custom APIs to pull data into databases and create custom connections.

Responsibilities:

• Data Integration: Source and integrate data from various infrastructure sources such as SCCM, SaltStack, ServiceNow, and Windows/RHEL environments


• Dashboard Development: Design and build interactive and visually appealing PowerBI dashboards to monitor and report on the patching environment and server status across development and production environments


• API Development: Develop custom APIs to facilitate data extraction and integration into databases, ensuring seamless data flow and connectivity


• Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive decision-making and improve IT operations


• Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs


• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, processes, and dashboard configurations


• Performance Optimization: Optimize PowerBI reports and dashboards for performance and scalability

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field


• 3-5+ years of experience in PowerBI development and data integration


• Advanced proficiency in PowerBI and DAX


• Experience with data sourcing from SCCM, SaltStack, ServiceNow, and Windows/RHEL environments


• Strong SQL skills and experience with database management


• Proficiency in developing custom APIs and creating custom data connections

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills


• Strong communication and collaboration abilities


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in PowerBI or related technologies


• Experience in an enterprise IT environment


• Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices


• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
