RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a highly successful consulting firm located in Boston, is in search of a Commercial Finance Manager. This company offers a strong company culture and a 40 year track record of substantial growth & success. The main focus of this role is partnering with Financial Leadership, firm MD's and key stakeholders. Primary emphasis is on profitable business growth and success. Other key aspects include Pricing, Rates, and Partnerships with clients for continued growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:


  • Implement and provide analysis of client rates with the goal of optimizing client relationships and profitability; This includes communication and negotiation of rates with clients understanding the impact of all rate agreements; Facilitate the process clients' understanding of rates and system maintenance

  • Optimize and elevate service aspects on rate negotiations; Understand the full scope of all agreements with clients

  • Provide guidance and support the firm on its data analytics regarding billing, pricing & rates

  • Provide analysis and perform special projects with a focus on automation, scale, and quality







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree required; Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred; MBA also preferred

  • An ideal candidate will have overall 7-15 years of experience, with specific highlights on negotiation, financial modeling, and effectively communicating to senior stakeholders

  • 7 years of substantive relevant experience within professional services preferred

  • Prior management experience required

  • Strong analytical capabilities to design and update financial models (revenue, profitability, rate setting, utilization & analysis) that utilize strong and weak assumptions at a client and firm level to understand sensitivity analyses, profitability projections, and equity amongst stakeholders

  • Strong PC proficiency (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive)

  • Ability to initiate and lead stakeholders to or through change; Adept at the implementation of change through effective communication and leadership techniques






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
