The Product PR team is responsible for telling our innovation story and positioning Workday as a pioneer that is shaping the future of work. The team is creative, bold, thoughtful, and at the forefront of AI in the enterprise.

About the Role

The Senior PR Manager will be responsible for building and managing our partner PR program. The role requires enthusiasm, problem solving, and collaboration in helping identify new stories - and ways of telling them - and navigating different teams and priorities. The Senior PR Manager will work with our services, software, and innovation partners to find opportunities for joint storytelling. The candidate will be someone who is fast paced, a great collaborator and problem solver, an excellent communicator, and a strong writer. This position plays a significant role on the communications team, and the candidate needs to be prepared to skillfully handle multiple partners and programs.

About You

The candidate will be someone who is a creative PR professional with a can-do attitude, an excellent writer, a self-starter, and a natural at building productive relationships with executives, partner and marketing counterparts, media, influencers, and other stakeholders.

This candidate will report to the head of Product PR, and must have demonstrated experience juggling fast-paced programs, projects, and priorities from strategic planning through tactical execution.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of public relations experience, preferably in enterprise software technology. Background in both in-house and agency is a plus.

  • Superb written and verbal communication and project management skills.


  • Ability to quickly understand technology and translate into public relations strategies, messaging, and compelling narratives.


  • Create content that reaches audiences across paid, earned, and owned channels.


  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven track record in navigating and building strong relationships with cross-functional teams.


  • Strategic thinking, problem solving, attention to detail, technical, and analytical skills.


  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage positive relationships with trade, partner, tech, and business media and influencers.


  • Hybrid office experience and periodic travel is required.



Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $135,800 USD - $203,800 USD
