What you will do to contribute to the company's success
Performs minor repairs (including plumbing, electrical, landscape, hardscape and mechanical) within outlined SLAs
Oversees work of external contractors and reports progress and deficiencies.
Contacts vendors for needed parts, repairs, maintenance and/or equipment.
Coordinates and/or performs repairs and routine maintenance with vendors and/or department members to ensure work is non-disruptive to daily functions.
Assists in tracking projects, preventative maintenance schedules and all required inspections.
Assists with selection and setup of new vendors.
Performs scheduled walk-through inspections & maintenance checklists of select company owned buildings.
Fulfills employee facility related requests, which may include moving materials, installing keyboard trays, furniture assembly and hanging artwork, dry erase boards, televisions, etc.
Assists with maintaining facility security including building access and alarm codes.
Maintain supply levels of facility related supplies and order replacements as necessary.
Assists with office arrangements as required to support new hires and personnel moves.
Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure effective operation of the company.
Communicates well with all department members and practices positive exchange of control.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to effectively communicate in person, on the phone and in writing in a clear, straight-forward and professional manner
Ability to comprehend and adhere to local and federal regulations and company guidelines
Ability to accurately measure distances, using tapes or other measuring devices
Ability to use a variety of hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, electric drills
Must possess moderate level of computer skills having knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Ability to lift and handle heavy supplies and equipment
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to implement record keeping procedures
Must possess valid driver's license with a history of safe driving record
