Compensation for this position is in the $52k range to $ 59k range depending on qualifications and experience.
Hybrid work schedule until otherwise notified. Hybrid work schedules are based on business needs and may require you to have to work in the office up to 4 days per week.
Summary: Supports the overall operations of AFSPA and the work of the Sr. Manager, Operations.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
· Support major AFSPA improvement initiatives by coordinating efforts between internal departments and external partners (e.g., Cloudforce, Aetna, etc). Leverage ClickUp to track tasks and ensure projects align with organizational goals, improve systems, and processes across the organization.*
· Support the Sr. Manager. Operations with planning and executing the annual meeting, the annual company retreat, AFSPA's Buddy Up program, the Wellness & Morale committee, and other activities.*
· Assists in AFSPA's annual policy review process for accreditation purposes, ensuring that Operations policies remain current. Work closely with Sr. Manager, Operations, to analyze workflows, gather feedback, and recommend actionable improvements to enhance departmental efficiency and productivity.*
· Maintain the filing system for operations documents, e.g., contracts and leases, in both paper and electronic form.*
· Monitor, generate, and disseminate monthly data analytics reports (i.e., results from member surveys, post call data, etc.) Collaborate with the management team to review findings, recommend process enhancements, and implement strategies.*
· Provides support to both the Sr. Manager, Operations, & Manager of Strategic Engagement in monitoring and executing the strategic plan and related initiatives.*
· Prepare and submit expense reports and invoices for review and approval by the Sr. Manager, Operations, and/or the Chief Operating Officer, including invoices from the IT vendor and others.*
· Assists Sr. Manager, Operations with open season travel for AFSPA and partner travelers, including contact with overseas partners, booking travel and accommodations, and preparing itineraries.*
· Other duties as assigned.
Work Location:
The following are work locations that AFSPA utilizes: New Carrollton, Maryland Satellite Office; Washington, DC Headquarters; and hybrid remote. AFSPA does not have any fully remote positions. Work location will be assigned and/or changed based upon business need and at Management's sole discretion.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor 's degree or 4 year of equivalent work experience required in office administration, project coordination, or operations support, ideally in healthcare or customer service. A project management certification is preferred, with additional value for experience managing vendors and cross-functional tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools like ClickUp. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for collaboration, critical thinking, problem-solving, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
