Responsibilities
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems.
Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Provide scientific and technical analysis of technology and concept maturity and readiness assessments of market and research trends to identify potential candidate solutions capability gaps.
Maximize client’s awareness, understanding, and access of emerging, planned, and current technologies and knowledge-based solutions that support R&D projects and programs.
Recommend R&D investment opportunities and identify technical and operational enhancements that could lead to pilots, proof-of-concepts, or adoption/transition activities associated with these opportunities.
Analyze, assess, adapt/adopt, and integrate candidate technologies, processes, knowledge solutions, pilots, or proof-of-concepts from emerging, planned, or currently available solutions into current, emerging, and future information technology (IT) environments.
Requirements
Degree in Systems Engineering or related disciplines.
13 years of experience and a MA/MS degree or in place of a MA/MS degree, an individual must have a BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience within a discipline relevant to the work associated with the position
TS/SCI Clearance Required with potential for Poly
