Key Responsibilities:
System Management and Support
Oversee the administration and maintenance of the SAP Ariba platform to ensure maximum utilization of Ariba functionalities for Sourcing & Procurement and customers.
Develop and maintain documentation on system configurations, workflows, and integrations.
Ensure seamless integration and data flow between SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, SAP ECC, and Workday systems.
Implement and manage Ariba modules such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP), and Contract Management.
Enforce standard catalog descriptions, commodity coding, schema, and taxonomy by commodity
Act as the escalation point for Ariba issues and challenges, providing timely resolutions.Provide user support and training and resolve any technical issues or process questions.
Lead system maintenance, troubleshooting, and error correction processes.
Engage SAP Ariba for technical support as necessary.
Manage user roles, access rights, and security within the system.
Monitor data uploads with peripheral systems.
Enable Ariba modules to support RFx development.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with SAP support as needed.
Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) Requests
Ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) by managing and documenting financial reporting and internal control requests.
Collaborate effectively with other teams to gather information for SOX audits and reviews.
Maintain accurate records of SOX requests and ensure timely responses to auditors and compliance teams.
Collaborate with IT and finance teams to enhance SOX compliance systems and processes.
Assist in preparing and submitting SOX compliance reports to regulatory bodies and auditors.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures through proper system configuration.
Contract Compliance
Support monthly reporting for business management and compliance processes.
Provide monthly and quarterly reporting and presentations on performance metrics.
Enhancements and System Optimization
Manage the workflow for approval of new catalogs and maintenance of existing catalogs (e.g., pricing, adding/subtracting items to meet customer requirements).
Serve as the key point of contact with Ariba Support on system customizations (e.g., field, system parameter changes).
Proactively prepare for and lead through new system releases and updates.
Stay up to date with SAP Ariba and Fieldglass updates, patches, and best practices.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and IT teams to understand business requirements and configure Ariba to meet those needs.
Qualifications:
Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Ariba administration and configuration.
Strong understanding of SAP Fieldglass and its integration with SAP Ariba.
Experience and proficient understanding of APIs.
Experience with procurement processes and solutions.
Technical proficiency in system troubleshooting, reporting, and analysis.
Ability to manage system updates and enhancements, including testing and release management.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) is a plus.
SAP Ariba and/or SAP Fieldglass certification.
