The Opportunity
A Tradebe Onsite Service Representatives supports client operations whose effort levels require a single dedicated individual (as opposed to a large multi-faceted site that may require a team of Tradebe personnel).
Key Responsibilities
Perform lab pack activities onsite
Perform High Haz stabilization activities for unstable chemicals
Create waste stream profiles and waste shipment documents
Obtain chemical samples with preparation for offsite shipping
Proper labelling of containers with pertinent DOT/EPA and TSD info
Management of waste containers between SAA and MAA's and perform waste shipments within the regulation time frames.
Consolidate chemicals from various lab and other departments.
Provide input to client on Best Management Practices of waste handling and shipping
Manage bulk containers onsite, scheduling off-site shipments, preparation of all shipping documents, inspection of bulk containers including tarps and other closure devices.
Maintain supply of onsite PPE, shipping documents, labels, and other required supplies.
Create and provide Site Specific Safety Plans/JHA's for site activities
Other duties as required.
Qualifications
Bachelors in chemistry or other related science degree
CDL B w/Hazmat, Tanker, and Air-Brake Endorsements (if required by site contract)
2+ years of industry experience
Experience in waste management processes and procedures such as waste collection, satellite accumulation area management, 90-day storage area management, waste stream profiling, chemical segregation and waste disposal technologies
Familiarity with regulatory status requirements of Small and Large Quantity Generators
Ability to operate a powered industrial device
Basic chemistry principles and chemical hazards
EPA designated waste codes
Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests and LDR's
TSD waste stream approval process
Familiarity and use of proper PPE
