Location: Chicago, IL

Salary: $145,000.00 USD Annually - $180,000.00 USD Annually

Description:
We're working closely with a consulting firm with clients in the healthcare sector looking for a solutions minded AI Scientist. The AI Scientist will play a role to help solve problems and develop advanced algorithms that solve problems. This AI Scientist will play a role in executing statistical and data mining techniques that include hypothesis testing, ML and retrieval processes on large datasets to identify trends. The ideal candidate will play a large role in providing through leadership to the company's AI capabilities through additional research and publications.



Responsibilities:

• Develop advanced algorithms for large-scale problems.
• Apply statistical and data mining techniques to large datasets.
• Evaluate new datasets and technologies.
• Develop assets for scalable capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in STEM with strong analytical coursework.
• Expertise in Python and knowledge and experience with Pyspark.
• Experience with ML platforms (e.g., Dataiku, Sagemaker, MLFlow).
• Knowledge of big data and advanced analytics concepts.
• Proficiency in machine learning algorithms (e.g., time series, classification, regression

• High motivation, good work ethic, and maturity.
