Our client is currently seeking a Physical Therapist for the 2024-2025 school year!!
Position type: Full time/part time
Location: Chester, PA
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and intervention services to students with physical disabilities
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' physical needs and enhance their educational experience
- Develop and prepare reports for IEP's to contribute to student progress
- Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving students' mobility, strength, and overall physical function
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid Pennsylvania state licensure to practice physical therapy
- Certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) as a Physical Therapist
- Previous experience working with children, in a school or pediatric setting, is preferred
- Must possess a current Physical Therapist license issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Physical Therapy
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Capability to perform physical activities related to therapy sessions
