Role Summary: Plan, direct, and guide the goals, strategies, and processes of the electrical and instrumentation maintenance team. Use expertise to achieve objectives, solve problems, and support both short and long term departmental targets. Provide leadership to ensure safety, reliability, quality, cost control, and customer service goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead preventative maintenance programs and offer technical support for troubleshooting to minimize downtime and enhance efficiencies.
Help employees understand their customer impact and how their work affects financial outcomes
Qualifications:
At least three years of supervisory experience in an industrial or electrical maintenance environment.
Experience with 480V three-phase motor controls and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
Skilled in maintaining and troubleshooting plant electrical distribution systems.
Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn PC-based production and administrative applications.
Experience with PLC systems and instrumentation (low voltage DC controls) and HMI.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Knowledge of electrical safety practices (NFPA 70e).
Experience with PLC systems and instrumentation (Allen-Bradley Contrologix & PLC-5 platform).
Familiarity with VFD drives and motor control (Allen-Bradley Powerflex 700 series).
Proven success in managing electrical projects, including budget oversight.
Leadership abilities to improve operations, safety, productivity, quality, culture, and cost management.
