Job Description:

Essential Duties:


  • Assist the Social Service Director/Consultant in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing of the social service programs of this facility.

  • Assist with administrative duties as directed. Including but not limited to audits, computer charting, phone calls, filing, etc.

  • Interviewing residents and communicating with family members and internal staff as directed.

  • Scheduling appointments and coordinating with family, resident and facility driver as needed.

  • Participate in meetings as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

  • 1 year experience working in a SNF or similar medical environment is required.

  • Computer literacy and 1 year experience in office setting is required.

  • Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept.

  • Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.

  • Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.

  • Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents.


Other details:

  • Full-time, Monday-Friday, daytime 8hr shifts

  • Pay will be $19-21/hr.

  • Local to Placerville area candidates are preferred
