Our ServiceNow Developer will provide operational and end-user support for the Service Catalog of products within the fully integrated ITSM solution. This person is responsible for configuring and developing applications and processes using standard ServiceNow scripts and tools. This position requires strong knowledge and experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, Configuration Management, and IT Operations Management (ITOM) procedures.
Responsibilities:
Contribute at an advanced level to the enhancements and on-going operation of ServiceNow.
Provide long-term oversight to ensure continuity and integration for Incident Management, Request Management, Change Management, and CMDB modules as well as provide oversight as I/S integrates additional functions into the platform.
Contribute to ongoing design and development efforts related to the ServiceNow platform and integrations.
Automate legacy processes using available ServiceNow workflows and best practices.
Assist in analyzing and resolving configuration issues promptly including, but not limited to, Service Catalogs, Workflows and Reporting
Work closely with the business areas and application support teams to improve business processes.
Maintain a consistently large, and often dynamic workload ensuring adherence to security best practices and standards for various platforms.
Performing data analysis by creating and executing complex queries, interpreting results, and communicating findings to technical and non-technical audiences
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
5 years of software engineering experience
5 years of experience analyzing complex business problems and translating business requirements into technology solutions that factor in system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, and scalability.
5 years of experience developing on the ServiceNow platform
2 years of experience working with Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile project methodologies
2 years of experience supporting relational database systems
Available to work after hours and weekends.
Preferred Requirements:
7+ years of software engineering experience
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
ServiceNow Certified Developer
ITIL certification or general knowledge in v3 or higher
Experience migrating individual ITSM products (Incident Management, CMDB, Change Management, and Request Management) into ServiceNow
