Job Description:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Receives and registers Client provided document for detail engineering or construction engineering project, including in-house generated documentation.

  • Maintenance of proper document registers, binders for detail engineering project and shop floor drawings.

  • Date stamp and print Bid documents. 

  • Ensures proper document classification, sorting, filing and proper archiving.

  • Reviews completeness of documentation and prepares document transmittals.

  • Prepares and maintains Vendor Drawing and Data Requirement books for detail engineering project for in-house use or for onward transmittal to clients during project closeout as required. 

  • Performs document quality check in accordance with CAID engineering document control procedures.

  • Prepares engineering drawing log reports.

  • Download/Upload from FTP clients, ISO, SharePoint, and various customer supplied portals.

  • Maintains confidentiality of all documentation and resources in accordance with the CAID/Samuel Policy

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: 


  • Continually develop computer knowledge to improve efficiencies, particularly software programs such as M2M, Word and Excel.

  • Develop strong oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills.

  • Bachelor's Degree or 5 years’ job experience in a related industry 

  • Familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
