Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of eating disorders in children and adolescents, specific expertise in ARFID and the role of exercise/compulsory behavior is desired. Ideally, candidate will have expertise in sex differences - including the presentation of eating disorders in biological males, eligible for licensure in PA. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
Teaching responsibilities may include supervising behavioral health trainees (including psychology externs and interns); giving lectures to trainees in psychology, psychiatry, and pediatrics; develop curricula.
Clinical responsibilities may include assessment and treatment services to children and families, in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include seeking internal and external funding opportunities, grant preparation, data analysis, manuscript preparation, dissemination of research finding, supervisor of research trainees, contributing to the growth of impactful and transformative research in pediatric health.
