This positions' primary responsibilities are to lead and develops Quality systems at AEM to achieve business objectives and continuously improve operational performance. You will drive continuous improvement of organizational processes/practices, products, and people.
This position reports to the Director of Quality Management.
Job Responsibilities:
Quality Management Systems
Develop, implement, and monitor quality management systems across AEM
Administer, evaluate, and improve quality management systems
Establish and maintain systems to collect, analyze and report information, to top management, regarding the state of the quality systems, processes, and training programs
Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the business
Manage Quality Personnel
Promote strong individual and team performance and actively support employee development
Identify departmental needs for additional resources, and recruit the necessary personnel
Recruitment activities such as conducting interviews, developing job postings, and supporting onboarding activities for new Quality staff members
Manage employee schedules
Train team with new or modified quality assurance policies and procedures
Compliance Management
Lead efforts to obtain and maintain quality certifications and accreditations.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines.
Plan, conduct, and manage internal and external audits.
Prepare for and coordinate third-party audits and certifications.
Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, trends, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Drive Customer Satisfaction
Act as customer liaison and advocate
Manage systems to track customer quality problems and coordinate timely resolution.
Investigate and resolve quality issues, non-conformities, and customer complaints in a timely manner.
Develop customer quality improvement plans and metrics.

Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience leading the quality assurance function in a manufacturing environment.
In depth knowledge of Quality improvement principles and ISO standards administration and compliance
Effective team leadership and communication skills
Problem solving skills - ability to assess quality issues and develop functional solutions
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma tools such as Pareto and Control Charts, Process Mapping, Value Stream Mapping, FMEA, 8D, 5-Why and Ishikawa diagram
Have a critical and objective eye to identify opportunities for improvement of departmental processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Possess excellent computer skills with the ability to learn new systems
Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English is required. Other language skills welcome.

This is a hybrid opportunity that can be done onsite and remotely.
Must have a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.

US Compensation Range: A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $70,000 - $110,000 per year/hour. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. AEM considers a wide range of factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education, licensure and certifications, key skills as well as other market and business considerations when extending an offer. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
