Description: Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and experienced Material Handler with expertise in operating 10-ton cranes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility, ensuring that production and shipping schedules are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate 10-ton cranes to lift, move, and position materials as required.
Load and unload materials from trucks, storage areas, and production lines.
Inspect cranes and other material handling equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels.
Assist with other material handling tasks as needed, including packaging, labeling, and organizing materials.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate material handling activities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of [2] years of experience operating 10-ton cranes.
Certification or training in crane operation preferred.
Strong understanding of safety standards and practices in material handling.
Ability to read and interpret work orders and instructions.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
