About the Role 

Essity Consumer Goods is looking for an experienced Brand Manager who will be responsible for developing and implementing brand strategies to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and ultimately increase market share for the TENA brand in the US market. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends, creative mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successful brand management in a fast paced environment.

The ideal candidate should/could live in Philadelphia, PA.

What You Will Do


  • Develop and execute brand strategies that align with overall business objectives and target audience preferences

  • Lead brand campaigns and initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and loyalty (including sampling programs)

  • Develop and coordinate ATL/BTL communication activities aligned with Global Brand guidelines and Global Brand Communication assets.

  • Develop Go-To-Marketing plans for locally generated activities to directly respond to market needs (ie. Customer specific requests, product, packaging)

  • Manage the interface with  product development and coordinating and/or driving global and local product launches; work cross functionally with finance, supply, demand etc. to ensure successful go-to-market approach

  • Collect, compile, verify, and analyze data on market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities for the brand/product/service

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints

  • Manage brand budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI

  • Oversee the development of brand assets, including visual identity, messaging, and brand guidelines

  • Monitor and evaluate brand performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in brand management

  • develop and execute sampling programs

Who You Are


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA a plus

  • Five plus (5+) years of brand management, marketing, or related field preferably in Consumer Packaged Goods, Business to Consumer

  • Creative thinking and innovation mindset; previous experience in campaign creation/idea generation; digital and traditional marketing expertise a plus

  • Previous experience with launching new products, developing complex marketing plans, external agency management, media planning preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strong proficiency in Circana/syndicated data applications a plus

  • Value creation & financial acumen; prior P&L management a plus

  • Moderate understanding of research methodologies; ability to provide input and guidance in testing and activate against results (ie. BASES I/II; concept tests, packaging design, etc)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and with multifunctional teams
