Ultimate Staffing is looking for an Accounting Specialist in the St. Louis Area!
The Accounting Specialist is responsible for managing all financial accounts within the organization including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables. Ideal candidates would have 2-4 years of experience.
Job Title: Accounting Specialist
Location: St. Louis, MO
Schedule: Mon- Fri, 8 am - 5 pm
Payrate: $23-27/hr based on experience
Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist:
Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing payments within the organization.
Handle general ledger bookkeeping, as necessary.
Ensure timely payment of all invoices; Manage client accounts and payment schedule.
Review all invoices for accuracy including expected payment terms and discounts
Communicate with vendors regarding invoicing discrepancies
Enter invoices into computer system, including assigning appropriate general ledger coding for unusual invoices
Process check requests and invoices ensuring all appropriate documentation and approvals have been received
Monitor credit card statements, circulate to all cardholders and ensure proper support is received for all expenses
Assist accounting department with projects as needed
Requirements of the Accounting Specialist:
2-4 years of accounting experience.
Bachelors or Associates Degree preferred, High school diploma or GED required.
