Job Purpose
Create and manage plan to ensure optimized distribution of products from manufacturing sites and central warehouses to regional/global warehouses to support customer service level agreements. Will support project and process improvement to enhance performance and efficiency of required planning activities. Must understand market demand and customer needs to effectively divide the production plan and allocate inventory.
Job Responsibilities
Manage activities related to distribution planning to secure demand in alignment with material resource planning parameters, replenishment strategy and production/ supplier capabilities. Balance service level and inventory targets at primary and/or secondary distribution centers while monitoring cost impacts on manufacturing.
Understand production and distribution throughput times. Ensure replenishment policies are defined and maintained for all stock keeping units (SKIs) considering shipment restrictions, shipment calendar, inventory stocking policies, and safety stock levels.
Manage supply and replenishments throughout the supply network, reviewing mid-term and long-term outlook of the supply plan against resources and warehouse capacities. Resolve exceptions in accordance with Integrated Business Planning rules.
Manage reduction and prevention of slow and obsolete stock. Resolve over/under stock. Ensure rework and scrapping at primary and/or secondary distribution centers. Execute and support allocation of constraint supply to demand/ create needed visibility through network.
Support projects and process improvement to enhance performance and efficiency of required planning activities.
Conduct gate keeping meetings with cross-functional departments, supporting and providing relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure performance.
Review logistics schedule adherence, driving improvement to include the optimization of truck load management.
Ensure master data correctness and proper housekeeping of transactional data.
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related discipline.
1 year supply planning experience in the paints and coatings industry, retail industry, or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG).
Experience in shipment of products across the Canadian border to include documentation requirements.
Knowledge of the handling and transportation of goods to include hazardous materials.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, complete accurate analysis, and submit recommendations for resolution.
Must be fluent in English.

Rewards and Benefits
The salary range for these skills is $68,000 - $75,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
